Mass Media in Greece

These days, Greek media suffer from a five days strike due to the financial problems of the mass media industry.

In this post, I wish to introduce you few links from the Greek mass media community that you might find interesting:

• Do Greeks have online radio stations? Or better, are out there any serious online radio station? Well, the answer is yes. Radio Bubble, a Greek online radio station, is a quite decent radio station playing nice music, organizing parties and art events. They are streaming from the center of Athens. Explore them, they have nice tunes. I will say, they have an alternative tone.
• Alternative journalism in Greece? Good Question. Difficult to answer. Few attempts: The Press Project. Nice outlook, attractive articles. But a serious flaw. Everything is in greek....A recent project of the same guys is the DEBTOCRACY. A recent discussion about the Greek Debt, that you might wish to follow. No worries, a lot of english material here. So do not afraid. Click on it!
• Yes. I agree. Greek TV is sort of boring. But these quys here: Ellinofreneia, they do a nice work. You might not agree with their way, but they have many good funny times.
